Despite the phenomenal growth in the total mobile phone subscriptions in India and China in the past few years, the cell phone to population penetration rate remains low in these two countries. Emerging markets in general offer the greatest potential for mobile phone companies. However because of the populationAsia-Pacific has better opportunities for growth.
